♥What is Animania?
Animania is a small cosplaying event that usually happens once every 2 months, but lately we've been lucky and its been happening every month (woot!).
(Sept, Oct, Nov, & Dec)
♥What is Cosplay/Cosplaying?
There are different definitions for cosplay:
Cosplay is short for "costume play" basically it just means dressing up.
Cosplay: to dress up as your favorite anime, manga, or gaming character!
etc...
♥Where does it happen?
It happens inside the Plaza Mall in McAllen. Inside the store call Suncoast.
(You know the one that sells movies and ANIME =3)
(Rio Grande Valley)
♥What goes on at Animania?
Hmm... good question... what doesn't go on in animania?
Well you meet people from the Valley who like you, are also interested in Anime, Manga, Cosplaying and other Japanese related stuff ^_^.
You can talk to them, make new friends, cosplay, get a date (joking XD), learn new things, get tips on how to improve your cosplay, where to get certain stuff and so many moe things!
Buy anime and manga, I believe there might be some discounts since its animania and close to cristmast...
If you cosplay you can enter the cosplay contest and maybe you can win something!

You can get information on ♥Shimakon♥ the first anime convention here in the valley!
Shimakon staff are usually the judges for the cosplay cosntest.
Support us by attending the event!

Well this started as just a little bulletin in myspace, then i decided to put it as a blog, then spreading the word to individual persons, and now to my deviantart journal...
So yea, I know somewhere here in deviantart there are some people from the rio grande valley that also like anime, (and cant get any info from anywhere else) So here it is to spread the word! And Hopefully you can go!
